A very nice café with a wonderful ambience, both inside and outside. The food is always delicious and there is a wide choice for breakfast and lunch. I can only recommend this café to everyone 👍🏼

Not recommended. I was there today with a friend and we wanted to order something to eat. We were told that there was nothing to be had today other than drinks and croissants. My friend then criticized the café's poor service. Then the owner became very rude and impolite and referred us from the café. The cafe was run much better under the old management and I spent many pleasant hours there. Unfortunately, I can only advise against visiting there.

Very nice and courteous service, prices reasonable and the food and drinks very tasty. We would be happy to come back.

After a long time and a very moderate impression at the time, we have been back to this beautiful place today. In order to then run away prematurely after the first consumption. The soup was clapped together so cheaply and the crepes were simply prepared that we really didn't want more. Apart from the endless waiting times. Having to write such a review is really no fun, but you just want to spare other people the experience there. Maybe there will be new tenants there who will bring the charm of the place in line with the gastronomic level. Where these many five-star ratings come from is simply a mystery to us. If it were technically possible, I wouldn't even give it a star.

Before Corona I was here for breakfast with a friend. Once and never again. The service was unfriendly and we had to wait half an hour for tea alone. The herbal quark was too salty and otherwise quite bland and the rolls apparently not baked to the end, but already a few hours old. All in all a breakfast that should have been saved, especially since the lady from the service showed no understanding whatsoever.

The café has a lot of delicious and inexpensive offers, you can have breakfast, waffles, crepes or cakes and also lunch. In addition, the service is very friendly! 😊

Been there four times within 10 days. That actually says it all. Super delicious: breakfast and the colorful salad with chicken. Additional requests were gladly fulfilled. You can tell that passion is in the company. I very much hope that this beautiful destination will remain with us for a long time!

Thanks for the late breakfast. Not so easy to get great breakfast on Sundays at 1 p.m. In the Cafe Eigenwillig we were welcomed in a friendly manner despite the time and received a lovingly prepared breakfast. We would love to come back. :)

Unfortunately we could not find an open shop last time, despite the supposed opening times, a shame we would have been very happy after the bike tour. Another time we were there and had a very unfriendly young man as a waitress. This was apparently overwhelmed with three tables. It used to be much nicer and more pleasant.

Very idyllic grounds in the shadow of the water tower. Nice atmosphere inside too. Kaiserschmarrn and bacon pancakes eaten - both delicious. Very suitable for a relaxing stopover.

I recently discovered this beautiful café in wonderful Tönisvorst. The café is directly in the water tower, (listed) and is located on the large landscape park. I think the café is perfect for a dog walk (in the park there is a secured dog playground) or with children (there is also a nice playground 😉 because it is very quiet and without cars. The staff is very nice and courteous, and makes everything fresh every day. The rooms are lovingly and nicely decorated (on three floors) but we particularly liked the large outdoor area. In summer you can sit comfortably under the old trees and enjoy coffee and cake, small dishes or a refreshing white wine. Wonderful! (Tip to the team: the wine list could be a little bigger 😉) During our visits we particularly liked the great light salads (with fresh fruit, chicken breast and homemade dressing - huge portion!), The delicious tarte flambee and the large selection of homemade cakes. Oh yes - and even our dog got his own bowl of water and loves the large garden where he can sniff everywhere. We look forward to the next time!

The owner Claudia, a real heart person !!, offers her guests fresh, very extensive breakfast, homemade tasty little dishes and various cakes (homemade every day !!), and how I find a real break! She recently renovated the café on three beautifully renovated levels last year and you can only feel comfortable. Either on the ground floor with the cozy tables, on the ground floor with a great lounge area or on the upper floor for private events. The breakfast buffet (I tested it before Corona - at the moment buffet is not allowed. Normal breakfast is just as great) blew me away. So many delicious homemade things that the way home is almost only rolling! But be sure to reserve as the breakfasts are often fully booked. We were also there for coffee and cake. Really all!! homemade and you are spoiled for choice!

We were here again for the birthday breakfast. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The owner has everything very carefully in view. She also often asks if something is still wanted. We are very satisfied and love the atmosphere.

I like to go here and I am very satisfied. Both the staff and the breakfast are just great. I can only recommend the café willfully.

Nice cafe. Very tastefully decorated. Nice owner, took time for a short conversation and showed us the premises. In good weather you can enjoy the coffee and cake outside. We will come back for coffee.
